Brother O'Neal Joseph Turner, O.C.W. Servant-Leader for the Christ Community at the Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana, died of cancer at age 50 on Monday, June 20, 2005.
His funeral was held at the Culver Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 24, followed by burial in the University of Notre Dame cemetery, with Fr. Tom participating.
Br. O'Neal had requested that any memorials be sent to the Order of Christian Workers, P.O. Box 4155, Tyler, Texas 75712. All memorials are dedicated to the Annual O.C.W. Children's Christmas Party, which was primary in Br. O'Neal's heart....

Fr. Tom travels to Culver several times per year to participate in the campus community life, as well as continue the tradition, since 2001, of having Culver students and staff participate in the Children's Christmas Party each December.
